Unashamed with Teresa Weakley

Journalist Teresa Weakley takes an unashamed approach to talking about mental health after losing her sister to suicide. With insight from mental health experts and those who have struggled themselves, she’s on a journey to make these conversations as common as talking about the weather because, let’s face it, they both impact us all every day.

Our hope in partnering with Teresa on this project is to provide empathy and empowerment to our audience. Like Teresa and her family, some of you are survivors of suicide (a person who has lost a loved one to suicide), and many of you are passionate when it comes to ending the stigma that surrounds mental health and suicide, along with promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention through education. Knowing this, we wanted to provide UNASHAMED listeners with a tangible tool they can use daily to take action and make a difference.
