MHSAA be nice. Training

MHSAA be nice. Training

Do you have a game plan for mental health?

The Michigan High School Athletic Association recruited the be nice. Program as their mental health training module this year.

That means 30,000 middle and high school coaches throughout the state will complete a 15-minute training explaining each step of the be nice. Action Plan - to notice, invite, challenge, and empower.

We stepped up our game by recruiting the University of Michigan coaches Carol Hutchins and Jim Harbaugh and Michigan State University coaches Mark Dantonio and Tom Izzo to introduce each step of the be nice. Action Plan. As an individual, you can learn the rest of the Action Plan by taking the pledge on our website.

Are you a coach looking for a way to bring be nice. to your athletes?

As a coach, you have what it takes to make a difference in your athletes' lives and school community! You've already taken the first step by recognizing the importance of mental health and suicide prevention education and awareness.
