Shining Through Art Show and Auction
Connections that Define Us

A juried art show and auction benefiting the MHF and its flagship program, be nice.

The 2026 Shining Through Art Show & Auction celebrates the power of connection — the people, places, and experiences that shape who we are. This year’s theme honors the relationships that lift us in moments of challenge and the steady foundations that keep us grounded in gratitude and grace. It’s a reflection of how we rise — not alone — but supported, strengthened, and deeply connected to one another.

More information about this year's event will be added soon!

2026 Call for Artists is now Open!

Artists are invited to submit original artwork for the 2026 Shining Through Art Show & Auction. As part of this annual committee-selected exhibition, artists may submit up to five pieces created within the last three years for consideration. Artwork does not need to follow the year’s theme unless you wish to be considered as the Theme Artist.

Each year, one artist is selected as the Theme Artist, whose work helps set the visual tone for the entire event. The selected piece becomes the signature artwork for the year and is prominently featured in event promotions, marketing materials, and throughout the exhibition.
